We did it!!We were finally able to bring our innovation to life.We can now be able to bring fire to the kitchen without harming the environment. We were able to turn the problem of water hyacinth into a solution of providing clean energy to households.
#CleanEnergy
Our recent study on water hyacinth not only shed light on its ecological impact but also highlighted the importance of informed decision-making prioritizing community engagement.
#Sustainability
Rising temperatures due to climate change facilitate the growth of water hyacinth by creating favorable conditions.
With every 1°C increase, there's a 10-15% rise in hyacinth expansion.
This water weed in turn has a lot of severe ecological consequences.
#ClimateEmergency
Climate change is reshaping our water world. Rising temperatures amplify evaporation, deplete freshwater reserves, and fuel extreme weather events. Let's dive into solutions that protect our precious water bodies and ensure a sustainable future for all. #ClimateEmergency
We appreciate part of our team members that were able to represent us at the #Run4Climate organized by Tree Adoption Uganda .
Together let’s keep pushing for actions towards #ClimateJustice .
Such an incredible honor to have crossed paths with the Director of International UNICEF Australia, Mrs. Alice Hall.
Her words of encouragement for our project inspired us to make an even greater impact to be able to achieve more alternatives of clean energy.UNICEF Uganda
Ensuring sustainable energy access for vulnerable communities at the grassroots level not only mitigates environmental impacts but also catalyses economic development, health improvements and addresses energy poverty.
