#MWEworks : The Deputy Chief Justice of the Republic of Uganda; Hon. Justice Richard Buteera today flagged off the Exhibitions as #UWEWK24 opened its doors to the public and stakeholders.

#UWEWK24 : The panel on 'Sustainable access and utilisation of 💦♻️🌍 resources' emphasized:
- A transboundary outlook to better plan for shared resources
- People's voices and responsible projects
- Learning, adaptability and innovation mindset
- Dependable and verifiable data

Earlier today-UWEWK2024 officiated by His Lordship, Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo represented by his Deputy-His Lordship Justice Richard Buteera who also inspected over 41 exhibition stalls. A number of commitments made by participating Stakeholders towards saving the environment.

#MWEworks : The 7th #UWEWK24 is being celebrated under the theme; “Rethinking collective action and innovative solutions to water, environment, and climate change crisis in Uganda”.

#MWEworks : The Commissioner Climate Change Department in @min_water; Margaret Athieno Mwebesa presented the key outcomes of the #COP28 that was held in United Arab Emirates, Dubai from 30th November to 12th December, 2023. The presentation was delivered as a side event during the #UWEWK24 .

The 7th edition #UWEWK24 opened today with Guest of Honor Deputy CJ Hon Justice Richard Buteera confirming Judiciary Uganda's plan to establish environment courts, a constitutional measure to protect a safe and sustainable envt.
