Happy Mother's Day!

Hats off to mothers and mother figures -- historic and present day!

Two mothers lived at Barrington-Mary Jones, who was the biological and adoptive mother of 8 children; and Lucy, who had a child while she was enslaved at Barrington.

Class 11 has been studying how the Athenians defeated a much larger Persian army. We could not re-enact the actual battle, but our two generals led a phalanx of sound hoplites instead (WARNING: cover your ears- our sound army is extremely loud!)

Tonight we hosted an amazing historian. Liz Gillis brought the women of 1916, the battle sites of the rising and the streets of Dublin to life as only a Dublin woman could. Thanks to Roisin & the Rangers for the support.

Captivated by the grandeur of Yingtian Gate! It's like stepping into a living history book, where every stone tells a story of resilience and heritage. A must-see gem that leaves you in awe.
