Not to get too excited but IT'S WARTIME BRITAIN WEEKEND 🎉🎉🎉

We're all ready for a weekend full of 1940s demonstrations, performances and festivities!

It's #VEDay ! On 8 May 1945 the war in Europe officially ended.

Though fighting was still taking place elsewhere, celebrations could be seen across Europe.

We couldn't let #WorldPenguinDay pass without a mention of this little penguin sculpture made of nuts and bolts by local welders in the Falklands 🐧

REME personnel were given these at the end of their tour along with a map of the Falklands with their name, rank and tour dates 🔧
