At 23rd HCoC ARM #EU reaffirms its strong support for #HCoC and actively promotes its universalisation, full implementation and efficient functioning. EU calls on all UN MS that have not yet done so to subscribe to the Code.

It was great to speak at this event on the Hague Code of Conduct as a risk reduction tool. We can learn important lessons from HCoC for the future of arms control, including how to design normative agreements and how to build on what's been achieved through the Code of Conduct.
