Today is #workersmemorialday , the day we honor workers who gave their lives in sacrifice to building a better nation. Construction workers make up 5% of workers but 30% of all on the job deaths. Let’s never forget those who labor in the most difficult jobs to build our nation.

Boys trip to the Kensington Farmer’s market today & I saw my friend Damon, owner of The Urban Winery. I’ve spent 2 years working w/ Damon on legislation to restore/revamp a program to allow significant local businesses signs on state roads. It should be signed into law soon!

These bills will put safeguards & best practices in place to prevent this hate from taking further root in our state’s institutions and schools.

This morning, we announced partnerships with MDTransportationDept, MCDOT, DDOT DC to make travel this summer smoother during Red Line construction. They've provided miles of dedicated bus lanes & changes to signal timing that will make the shuttle travel seamless. #wmata

Cannot underestimate how much of a climate win bus lane enforcement cameras will be for Baltimore City.

The better our bus system gets, the smaller our carbon footprints get. Speed up buses, help the environment.

Josh Hawley, who voted against the Infrastructure Act of 2021, is complaining about infrastructure.
