Our paper on high-resolution 🍩 of the human CDK-activating kinase for structure-based drug design has been published in Nature Communications! We determined more than a dozen 2 Å structures of the ligand-bound complex to investigate the mechanism of inhibitor selectivity.

Our first 'lab paper' is out: In collaboration with Sandro Ataide/Yichen Zhong (University of Sydney) and Adrian Koh/Abhay Kotecha (TFS), Junjie determined the structure of the peptide binding domain of SRP68/72, the largest protein components of the eukaryotic SRP.

This is excellent work on high throughput cryo-EM for drug discovery. Anecdotally I've heard of similar pipelines in industry (probably less optimised) so having something like this illustrating the cutting-edge out in the open is really valuable for the community 🍩🍩🍩
