Wrote this in 2019 about institutional ACEs (system trauma) with the inimitable Dr Wendy Thorley. A pioneer in her field with a long lens. If you'd like a PDF copy, just DM me. I'm happy to share on and hope it widens the conversation. #Institutional #ACEs

This looks superb. Highly recommended downloading this powerful resource from Affinityhub.uk Noelle Blackman Respond ⬇️⬇️
This document by Dr Joanna Griffin and Affinityhub.uk
is a very upsetting but necessary read. It would be wonderful if the Department for Education could engage with the findings and acknowledge that putting parents and carers through this is not justifiable.
Recognise so many themes/issues in this comprehensive document.
As a parent I found it thought provoking and useful. For people and practitioners who know and/or support parent carers, I think it’s essential reading.
Thank you Jo and Affinityhub.uk.🙏🏻

For #UndiagnosedChildrensDay we shared our report on the value of couples counselling for parents/carers of children with #undiagnosed #genetic conditions. We have worked with Rareminds since 2021 to offer this invaluable service free of charge.
