When someone tells you about their traumatic experience, it usually means that they feel safe around you, they trust that you won't use their trauma against them, they feel deeply connected to you. Don’t take that for granted.
Unhealed trauma makes you hold onto people, and tolerate so much shit you don't deserve because you don't want to feel alone. Healing makes you realize some people don't deserve access to your life no matter how much you love them.

Some of you aren't shy or introverted, but trapped in the trauma of rejection, abuse and manipulation. That is not your 'personality' but unhealed pain.
People don’t understand how growing up w a toxic parent or in a toxic environment can damage yo mental you literally gotta find a way to reverse all that trauma you went through as a kid smh 😔
