Biological data is being generated at a staggering rate. AI will be instrumental in making sense of it all. Looking forward to exploring this topic with Stephen Wolfram and Moira Gunn at @synbiobeta on 5/7. #SynBioBeta2024 bit.ly/4cQNZ9E
Yesterday, Stephen Quake gave an outstanding lecture in honour of Herman Vanden Berghe, one of the founders of the Center for Human Genetics (KU Leuven - UZ Leuven) in Leuven. We held a typically Belgian reception afterwards.
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Lubert Stryer, a terrific friend and mentor. Our first recruit at #CZBiohubSF , he led the inaugural investigator competition and established a culture of scientific excellence and collegiality.
He was a remarkable scientist and human being.
How will #AI and #biology intersect? To find out, join Moira Gunn, host of NPR’s Tech Nation and Moira Gunn, who will moderate the fireside chat between Stephen Wolfram and Stephen Quake at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, at #SynBioBeta2024 in San Jose. Join us for this dynamic…
It was an honor to join brilliant minds from Allen Institute, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and WashingtonUniversity to celebrate #SeaSynBio and this cross-institutional effort to deliver new insights and technologies to record the history of cells over time.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of sitting down with Stephen Quake, Amy Herr, Marion Pepper, and Jay Shendure for a special panel celebrating the launch of the Seattle Hub for Synthetic Biology. The passion, optimism, and commitment to open science was shared by the entire panel.…
Today, we recognize and appreciate the hard work of doctors around the world on #NationalDoctorsDay . Your commitment to healing and care makes a real difference every day. Thank you for all you do! 👩⚕️👨⚕️ #Healthcare #ThankYouDoctors
Thrilled to be part of the fireside chat with Stephen Wolfram at #SynBioBeta 2024 on May 7th! We'll be diving into the intersection of AI and biological data analysis, exploring new frontiers in computational biology. #SynBioBeta #AI #BiologicalData #Innovation
