Brochs in the Borders? You'd better believe it!
Hundreds of these #IronAge towers are found in northern Scotland, but a few are much further south. Near(ish) to #Trimontium are Torwoodlee Broch, Edin's Hall Broch, Bow Castle Broch.

The discoveries were made during archaeological excavations undertaken by GUARD Archaeology prior to the construction of new houses in 2014, the results of which have only now been revealed following the completion of post-excavation analyses.
