Kilwinning has a new councillor after Scottish Labour’s Mary Hume was elected for the ward.

It means Labour has become the main opposition to the SNP on North Ayrshire Council, overtaking the Conservatives

Great result for Councillor Mary Hume.

Voters across Kilwinning chose Scottish Labour for the change our community needs.

Congratulations to Mary Hume and the North Ayrshire Labour team, who ran a great campaign.

She won over half of all votes and I'm certain will be a terrific representative for Kilwinning.
