Just seen my GP patient summary and Long Covid isn’t on it, despite me being under a LC clinic and having the diagnosis from multiple specialists, and it being on around 300 clinic letters over the past 4 years 🤷‍♀️

Hi everyone. I have been on twitter (x) for a while. This is my first time in this part of X. I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome #MECFS and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder #CPTSD

I usually go to my medical appointments alone but have asked my bro to come with me on Tues to see rheum. I hear you get better results when accompanied by a man. We will see. #Experiment

Ankles are a little better today but still getting severe pains mid lower leg when trying to stand up from sitting. Hands, wrists and shoulders also still bad. I realise my GP didn’t even comment when I mentioned the mid-lower leg. Guess he’s hoping the steroids fix that too 🤷‍♀️

My Dr thinks I have cushings from the steroids. Has written in notes that I have moon face and buffalo hump. Am gutted. Now my looks are being taken from me too. I think it reverses after steroid use stops though? Until yesterday I’d had none since Dec though and hadn’t gone 🤷‍♀️

Still in so much pain today. Hope the steroid kicks in soon. Usually takes a few days. Can’t get out of bed.

Does anyone know if the therapy bands used in NHS hospitals are now definitely non-latex?

Frances Ryan It would be fun as if I lost pip I wouldn't be able to afford a car suitable for me and my chair with hand controls. Then I wouldn't be able to get to the station and get to work so I'd have to give up work and the government would lose all the tax I pay
