'We have an Ombudsman or we don't & while the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman's finding may be uncomfortable or inconvenient, it is nevertheless the finding & we should do the right thing.' Exactly, Andrew Selous MP. It is 'a matter of trust' for #WASPI #1950swomen & indeed the general public.
.Wendy Chamberlain MP spoke of 'cross-party consensus about the need for speed' following Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman's report. She hopes Paul Maynard MP heard the strength of feeling 'that the Government need to do something quickly.' Thank you, Wendy. #WASPI #1950swomen hope so too. #WASPI Campaign

'...there is nothing at all to prevent the Government bringing a vote forward in Government time.' Thank you, Patricia Gibson MP, for securing yesterday's debate. The urgency of a fair resolution was stressed time & again. There is cross-party support for it. There is no excuse for
I urged the Government to bring forward urgently a proper compensation scheme for the #WASPI Campaign women as I believe that there is a majority in the House of Commons to vote for a scheme that is implemented quickly but it has to be at a sufficiently high level.
