One thing that I think helps me understand and accept the idea that paleontology always changes was the paleo media of the early 2000s.

Each dinosaur was different depending on where I looked, and seeing so much variety really helped me to understand that on a very young age.

Thescelosaurus neglectus has the most accurate name in paleontology because this little fucker is one of the most interesting animals in Hell Creek (and that's saying something) but no one seems to care.
