JANANI SURAKSHA YOJANA #JSY is a safe motherhood intervention to reduce maternal & neonatal mortality by promoting institutional delivery among poor pregnant women. Institutional delivery in the country has risen to 78.9% (NFHS-4, 2015-16) from 47% (DLHS-3, 2007-08).
