Finally got round to using the Denford Ltd Router 2600 Pro.
1) Make a secure sacrificial base.
2) Measure the base
3) Create jig on TechSoft_UK_LTD 2D Design
4) Lasercut jig
5) QC - check if it aligns
6) Cut base out of 18mm MDF
7) Etch on Laser
8) Attach
