Brain on Fire, a 2016 movie based on a true story of a girl misdiagnosed with psychiatric illness until a Dr finally noticed she was actually suffering from an autoimmune brain inflammation. She received proper treatment and made a full recovery.

PANS / PANDAS what on earth is that? The symptoms of PANS can be mistaken for a variety of mental illnesses which is why it's hard to diagnose but many children could be left suffering for years on the waiting list for CAHMS when all they need is antibiotics.
