Congratulations to the P7s from St. Patrick’s Primary New Stevenston who achieved their Outdoor Discovery Award today. The group have enjoyed taking part in outdoor activities with Motherwell Youth Work Team over 8 weeks learning about navigation and using fire and tools.

👊 Malcolm, our Digital and Recreation Lead Youth Worker, Malcolm spends most of his time in the chill zone creating digital and recreation opportunities! Malcolm is a fantastic advocate for important issues that young people face in our communities. #yww22 #youthworkweek22

The Fire Cadets programme is a 2 year academic course.

The programme gives young people the opportunity to develop key skills through classroom delivery and practical elements on the drill ground with operational tasks.
