I was so lucky to see the pups; a first for me. As I sat quietly, I witnessed this lovely little moment when mum appeared with one of her babies. Spending time in nature is so good for our wellbeing πŸ’š #30DaysWild from The Wildlife Trusts starts tomorrow πŸ˜ŠπŸ£πŸπŸ›πŸ¦‹πŸΈπŸ¦πŸͺ²πŸ₯ BBC Springwatch

A Banded Demoiselle, resting on a blade of grass in my small orchard meadow, as a Red Kite calls overhead. He had just consumed a large insect! They are one of Nature's natural pesticides!

I couldn't get the phone out of my pocket and its camera switched on fast enough, to get close up footage.πŸ˜” But did eventually manage to catch one of our pond residents swimming across the surface with food. That's just made my morning. Jo Cartmell #RewildTheEarth πŸƒπŸ’šπŸƒ

I have absolutely no need to jump off a cliff to 'experience' the natural world.

The best wildlife experiences are when you are very still and merge into your surroundings to put wild kin at ease. Unlike the noisy dog walker who scared this Water Vole (at end of clip)!

I was caught out by a Water Vole, who saw me first this morning, as I walked along the brook, past the tall reeds to get a clearer view! He then became secretive, moving swiftly and quietly behind vegetation. Probably one of this Water Vole's offspring, due to similar colouring!
