As part of the incredible £50 million gift from Steve Morgan Foundation and in partnership with JDRF UK, we’re encouraging scientists to develop a facility to support more beta cell research within the UK.

The device will act as a barrier and protect the beta cells sitting inside, by blocking attacking immune cells, while still letting in vital nutrients they need to survive.
