That’s beautiful life.
And it’s the result of careful, expert pruning in the fall by people who’ve been doing it for decades.
I’ve been watching it all my life and still I can’t do it.

Think about the people who work to bring you the lettuce & tomatoes & celery & onions & every other veggie you enjoy in your salad.
It doesn’t just hop from the farm into your market.

My dad used to have a fruit packing house.
During grape season they kept a jar with from the grapes in it.

Thank you United Farm Workers for sharing these photos and videos — many folks don’t realize the intense labor & backbreaking work that Lorenzo & others do to bring us our food.
Say thank you everybody!

United Farm Workers Oh my GOSH that’s a lot of tomatoes!!
Daniel and his compadres must work very hard to pick that many in a day.
I’m surprised the governor isn’t out there yelling at them.
Muchas gracias, Daniel!
