On Day 2 of #NationalBiodiversityWeek took me somewhere very special (<1km from home) - Moanveanlagh Bog SAC. Illegally burned last year, a large portion of it is now dominated by bog cotton (Eriophorum vaginatum) & a distinct scar in the vegetation can still be seen!

We're really excited for #NationalBiodiversityWeek next week. During the week we have a number of events planned which will highlight the biodiversity we have here in Iveragh.
