Holly trees can live for 300 years, include in a hedge or as an individual hedgerow tree.
Male and female flowers occur on different trees, once pollinated by insects, the female flowers develop into berries.

The sweet-smelling tubular flower of the Honeysuckle provides food for Bumblebees and Moths, including the Elephant hawk-moth.

Our Ladybirds of Ireland dataset has recently been updated with data from March and validation is underway from the data submitted in April.
