Month : Blue Squared, by Luna Orchid.

Blue Squared is a book for young adults, either familiar with or curious about the peculiar, trans-cultural, liminal space that is Hong Kong.

It is a huge honour to be this year's curator for GlobalLiteratureinLibrariesInitiative's 2024 .

As I've mentioned in my welcome post, I am thrilled to be highlighting the richness and diversity of international YA literature and the importance of reading globally. (1/2)

The first review of GlobalLiteratureinLibrariesInitiative's is this excellent piece by Melitta von Pflug. She tells us about Luna Orchid's Blue Squared and the 'peculiar, trans-cultural, liminal space that is Hong Kong'. The book is well worth a read, as is Melitta's review!

Mio Debnam GlobalLitinLibs Thank you for resharing. Alas, that's our old Twitter handle. We got locked out and there's no such thing as Twitter customer service. Our new one is @GlobalLitin. Thanks for sharing! We're so excited about our fourth annual !

This is one of the best books I have read in the last year.

Magnificently conveys what it's like to live with a hidden illness while trying to be a 'normal' teenager.

A must have for all secondary/middle high libraries.
