We were very pleased that @Bednallmusic was able to join us on Monday to hear the first performance of the anthem that he wrote especially for the occasion. The organ part is fiendishly difficult, but Colin Druce was of course up to the job!

Wonderful to be back at Ely Cathedral for #ChoralEvensong yesterday evening. Sarah MacDonald led the Choir of Men and Girls in a riveting performance of Alleluia I Heard A Voice by Janet Wheeler. It's a real gem of a piece.
Our choristers are now on half term holiday this week so this coming Sunday's services at St. Peter's will be without choral music.
But we are singing #ChoralEvensong at Portsmouth Cathedral โฉ on Friday, because school holidays are the only practical time to do this. Watch this space!
