Today, Dr. Robert Nanima leads a session on validating Standard Operational Procedures on the DDR of CAAFAG, emphasizing the crucial role of child rights principles. Protecting our children’s rights is paramount in every aspect of peace building.

ANPPCAN-SOMALIA participated on training on program design with emphasis on CAAFAG programming. It will help us in improving both our current & future CAAFAG programs. Sincere appreciation 2 colleagues for devoting their valuable time to this great event.

The training brought together child protection practitioners from UN, International & national NGOs with the goal to strengthen their knowledge and skills to design quality and gender-sensitive programmes for CAAFAG, including prevention, release, and reintegration interventions.

With my colleague Sandra Maignant, our Plan International Children Associated with Armed Forces & Groups advisor and co-lead of the Global #CAAFAG Task Force at the Oslo #ProtectChildreninConflict conference.

#SorouhWithSCI met with 17 service providers to discuss child protection and CAAFAG issues in Meshahda, #WestMosul to address OOSC, civil documents and services for children with special needs. The meeting included 4 government departments, 2 INGOs, 2 BNFs, and 4 CPC members.

Speaking now is Amanada Brydon on how to do local Advocacy for CAAFAG at the 2023 Annual Meeting of Children and their Participation at the Center of Humanitarian Action.
