This week OGR hosted a representative from FEMA who visited programs that received federal Homeland Security grant funds. TY Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, Mass State Police, Massachusetts Department of Fire Services, City of Boston Emergency Management, Massport Fire Rescue & other funded programs that showed how MA effectively uses these federal funds.

On Saturday, members joined the City of Boston Emergency Management Ready Boston Field Day at English High for touch-a-truck as well as taught attendees lifesaving skills like hands-only CPR.
In support of #Boston128 , 12 MEMA staff are deployed in the field at the B.A.A. Race Operations Center, City of Boston Emergency Management Emergency Operations Center (EOC), and in local EOCs in communities along the Marathon route. MEMA’s Mobile EOCs are deployed in #Hopkinton and #Brookline .
