Meet Dumbledore, one of our male saki monkeys. White-faced saki monkeys feed primarily on fruits, flowers, seeds, and insects. They are sometimes nicknamed “flying monkeys” because of their ability to leap from tree to tree in search of food. You can see him in the Tropic Zone.

Head into the last weekend of Spring Break with a trip to the zoo!

Just in time for a Spring Break visit, the zoo has welcomed two newborn mini-Nubian goats to our herd! Wren was born on 3/17 to mother Vesper, & Willet was born shortly after, on 3/26, to Whimbrel. Next time you visit, look out for the young goats in the Tisch Children’s Zoo!

We have wonderful news! There isn’t just one new harlequin lamb at the zoo, there’s TWO.

Joining Bobbin & the rest of the flock is Sage, who is just 3 weeks old! According to keepers, the lambs have boundless energy. Next time you visit, look for them in the Children’s Zoo!

With Zookeeping 101, teens will enjoy an inside look at zookeeper & animal care careers. Participants get early access to the zoo, learn about animal husbandry, explore the exhibits, & meet a small ambassador animal.
