Here, R2P's specialists provide legal, psychological, and social support and register for cash assistance from UNHCR Ukraine

Evacuations continue from Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region🇺🇦 where hostilities are increasing.
 
UNHCR's partner NGO Proliska helped people get to the transit centre in Kharkiv city, where they received psychosocial support, basic aid & was registered for cash assistance.

This week, Danish Minister Morten Dahlin 🇩🇰 joined UNHCR & Karolina L Billing in Borodianka 🇺🇦 to meet people affected by the full-scale war and witness how this community, that was heavily destroyed in 2022, is rebuilding and reviving & UNHCR is helping to repair damaged homes.

As Russia intensifies attacks on the Kharkiv oblast in Ukraine, thousands of people are being forced to leave their homes.

EU humanitarian partners UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and People in Need are on the ground in Kharkiv, providing critical aid like cash, water or clothing to those in need.

Over 7,000 people have been evacuated so far. An evacuation centre has been set up in the city, where people can receive various assistance, including from R2P.

During May 12, NGO Proliska, and UNHCR Ukraine evacuated 15 Vovchansk residents including 2 children,10 cats and one dog. In total, 953 people were evacuated from Vovchansk and Lypetsk.

UNHCR's partner "Poruch". Volunteer union continues to support the inclusion of internally displaced children & youth in their host community.

In Poruch Space, 300+ children can join masterclasses to learn new skills, while finding friends + improving their mental wellbeing.

NGO Proliska arrived to Druzhba, Sumy Oblast and provided assistance to 33 residents in the form of materials for quick repair and non-food items from UNHCR Ukraine. Psychological assistance and social support were also provided.
