Good luck to our #LondonMarathon runner, Ollie Dixon, at the weekend! πββοΈ
Ollie is running in memory of his sister Rachel who, on 9th May 2010, had a seizure in her sleep and never woke up. She was 18 years old.

Really sad to hear that Metro Radio (and TFM) are no more. As a kid I phoned in to TFM and got on air a bit, then I was lucky enough to start my career in 2007 at Metro with the amazing Simon Owen Madeleine Briggs Caroline Densley and (for a whole 24hrs) simon crabtree. I learned SO much π
Had a blast at Aintree for The Grand National. The BBC 5 Live Sport on and off air teams both there and in Salford are amazing, makes it so much easier.
Big thanks to Nathan Young + GBDSC for having me today at the GB Deaf Swimming Championships. Day 1 of making a BBC 5 Live Sport documentary on deafness in sport, lots planned for the coming months. Itβll be coming out at the end of summer. Great way to kick things off π

Today is purple day. A day to raise awareness about epilepsy. π Young Epilepsy Epilepsy Society
Itβs Purple Day, (our annual international epilepsy awareness day), one of the most common Qs Iβm asked is βwhat do I do if you have a seizure?β - and I love it when people ask. Summed up perfectly below by Epilepsy Society, remember, simple knowledge can save a life π
