A thirteen-year-old boy is expected to spend a year in hospital as a result of a rare epilepsy syndrome.

At one point he experienced around 50 seizures a day.

The Preschool Brain Imaging and Behaviour Project (PIP) is a study that tracks the brain/behaviour development of preschoolers with epilepsy.

The project is seeking young volunteers and their parents to help them with the research.
