It was a real pleasure to host coffee forum events in Bruton and Curry Rivel during the parliamentary break. I updated constituents on what I've been working on since I was elected last July, fielded questions from the floor and dealt with individual casework queries.

My team and I spent a wonderful morning speaking to residents in Butleigh today. The sun shone for us and we enjoyed a really warm reception from residents.

We utterly condemn Iran’s attack on Israel.

This is a dangerous escalation in a conflict that has already caused far too much death and suffering.

Behind each of these headlines is somebody's elderly family member, waiting in fear and pain for the care they desperately need.

The UK Government must take swift action to suspend arms exports to Israel.

Earlier today Gideon Amos OBE met Cllr Federica Smith-Roberts at the unveiling of the Knife Angel in Taunton.

We need to see more action to reduce violent crime, from investing more in youth services, to increasing police on the street.

These soaring GP waits show a grim ­postcode lottery, with communities being abandoned when it comes to local health services.

Yet more chaos from the Conservatives. What use are free hours to parents if they're unable to find a nursery place for their child? Thanks to Conservative underfunding, more than 3,000 childcare providers have closed in the last year alone.
