I hope this woman gets her justice in court. This practice deters rape survivors from coming forward, which is why we have a bill (S.7867A) to prevent it in New York.

The best look this New York Fashion Week is treating fashion workers properly and compensating them fairly.

To keep this industry sustainable and become non-exploitative, we must pass our Fashion Workers Act (S8638A).

Nursing home patients deserve to be treated with respect, provided a proper standard of care, and empowered to enforce their rights.

Governor Kathy Hochul just signed our bill (S.995), which will allow a patient’s legal representative or estate to sue for injuries.

The work of Black artists should not be misused as evidence against them - in New York or anywhere else.

I'm glad to see Congressman Jamaal Bowman building on our work with Jamaal T. Bailey & @catalinacruzny by introducing federal legislation to protect artists nationwide.

Devastating news: our monarch butterflies are now endangered.

We must enact the Monarch Preservation Plan to prevent their extinction (S.9295).

.Meta knows their products harm millions of kids every day.

Kudos to these parents for standing up for children everywhere.

I will be following these lawsuits, rooting for their success, & fighting to create more accountability tools to rein in bad actors in Big Tech (S7568)

To afford a $5,000 apartment, your annual income has to be at least $200,000. The average income in Manhattan is less than half that.

We must create additional affordable housing and pass to keep our families in their homes.

Reckless drivers will not change their behavior without real accountability, and innocent pedestrians and cyclists will suffer the consequences.

I'm fighting in Albany to give victims of vehicle crashes the justice they deserve ⬇️⬇️
