Congratulations to our volunteer crew member Sam Stephan who today passed out as an ILB Helm at Plymouth RNLI

This means Sam can now take command of our Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat (Annabel E Jones) whilst on service or exercise.

Plymouth RNLI volunteers launch to fishing vessel on fire.

The Plymouth ALB was requested to launch by Falmouth Coastguard to locate and assist a fishing vessel reported to be on fire with three persons onboard.

Saturday 18th November 5pm
Plymouth RNLI will be travelling to the North Pole in the All Weather Lifeboat and returning with Father Christmas 🎅

Expected at the Royal William Yard 4:30pm and then the Barbican Landing Stage at Commercial Wharf 5pm to deliver Father Christmas.

It was the 149th lifeboat station I documented, just before the RNLI closed its stations to the public for two years at the start of the pandemic…an abrupt pause for the project!

Plymouth RNLI attended the The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health swim to Drake’s Island to show our support but 📟 beep beep the volunteer crew were tasked not once but twice to assist people in need of our services. Well done to everyone who completed the swim today
