Decided to push the boat out for a Sunday roast beef. This Henschke Mount Edelstone shiraz is sublime.

Black fruits (in particular, blackcurrants) abound. 24 years young. It's aged so gracefully. Silky. Lovely finish.

Absolute gem of a wine. Wow.

Cant say I know a load about Grenache Blanc but I can tell you it bloody tasty. Its quite zingy and a bit textural with apple or pear type flavour. Nothing tastes quite like this one

How is this an aged wine? This BROKENWOOD WINES 2011 McLaren Vale shiraz is just chock full of brambly fruits, and so fresh and lively. Would never have guessed it if served blind. Stunning drop!
