The European Parliament has just approved the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. This is a big step - for all its flaws, the Directive moves towards greater accountability of corporations for their human rights and environmental impacts.

Happy and proud that Neus Torbisco Casals🎗 will run for the European Parliament in June. In the EP there is much to be done for Catalonia, and much for progressive politics in Europe. Endavant!

The Spanish Congress has just passed the amnesty law for Catalonia. This creates space for a political solution of the conflict and decriminalizes many acts that, under international human rights law, should never have been crimnalized in the first place.

In this episode of What Matters Today Geneva Graduate Institute I unpack last month's CIJ_ICJ order in the case brought by South Africa v Israel over Gaza. Bottom line: a vague order, and a month on, little change on the ground - but some change in public discourse.
