Yesterday the Museum was the venue of Young Engineers and Science Clubs Scotland Midlothian Celebration of STEM! It was an incredible day, where Midlothian & Scottish Borders schools showcased their #climatesmarter entries & competed in industries' STEM challenges, like making peg & lolly stick mine shafts!

P1 had a fantastic trip to the NationalMiningMuseum learning about how people lived and worked in the past. We found out our lovely tour guide was a St.Andrew's pupil before he became a miner and shared lots of fond memories of his time at primary school
