Yesterday we had a lovely visit from PD’s Dexter & Mika - MPS Welfare & Trauma Dogs and Dexter's handler PC Sheather from Met Wellbeing & Trauma support.
The visit lifted spirits and brought smiles to our colleagues around Charing Cross police station.
Two officers who were injured whilst disarming a knife-wielding man in Shaftesbury Avenue have been nominated for a Police Federation #BraveryAward
PC Alanna Mulhall, PC Joe Gerrard assisted by their colleagues stood between the man and members of the public during his frenzied attack.
