Day 12 update from Jonathan, All the heavy rain came their way today, plus cold & windy, a very hard day even though it is their shortest. 54 miles felt a lot harder than 80’s on earlier days.

Jonathan’s Day 8 - Carnforth to Gretna. a very long, hard day, 89 miles is their longest day of the tour, plus some very tough Lake District/Caldbeck Fells climbs.
Tomorrow is Gretna to Larkhall - 79 miles.
