I know I should ignore this, but I still find it utterly enraging. People whose entire economic project has failed on its own terms, now want the UK to ignore the biggest long term threat and greatest economic opportunity it faces. And we’re being asked to take them seriously.

The next government will inherit an almighty mess. I don’t expect them to be perfect, or to improve things overnight. But, the Tories have caused immense damage to the entire fabric of the UK. When even conservative US papers can see the incompetence, you know their time is up.

The Tories are a bunch of incompetent, inept, unprincipled lying liars. They have screwed the economy; screwed our politics; and screwed all of us. They take us for morons. The idea we’d give them another few years in office is another example of their delusional thinking…

The UK will, then, have to join the Single Market and a Customs Union. You’ll hold out on this, but not for as long as you think you can.
