The Scottish Government must direct colleges to withdraw threats to deduct pay from EISFela members taking action short of strike.

When I raised this with the minister, he said colleges were legally entitled. But that doesn't make it fair or ethical.

Care workers have been let down by the Scottish Government, which has withdrawn £38m from its 'Fair Work in Social Care' budget.

These are funds agreed to ensure sick pay, maternity and paternity pay.

Today, I joined care unions in demanding the #MissingMillions are restored.

Solidarity to all lecturers taking strike action this week for fair pay and the protection of jobs.
 
Many have also been taking action short of strike and threatened with deducted pay.
 
The @ScotGov must provide real investment and demand colleges follow fair work obligations.

Figures released to my office show:

• Just 22% of ScotRail operated stations have toilets open to the public

• Just 19% have baby changing facilities

• Just two have Changing Places toilets for disabled passengers

The level of service is shameful.
