Today we extended the closure of K-12 schools and non-emergency childcare programs through the end of the school year.

Remote learning will continue and Massachusetts K-12 is taking additional steps to boost remote learning to ensure we're doing everything we can to support students.

With our federal testing waiver secured and the state legislation officially enacted....I can now confirm that this spring’s regular administration of MCAS in grades 3-10 is cancelled. Further info on competency determination et al. will be forthcoming.

In response to COVID-19, we're canceling the May 2 SAT, as well as March makeup exams. Registered students will receive refunds. We will provide additional SAT testing opportunities as soon as feasible in place of canceled administrations. More details: spr.ly/60181subj.
