The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council held a meeting at the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester.

The members have been working on their year-long action project that centers on empowering, elevating, and amplifying student voices.

Thank you to The Worcester Education Collaborative for hosting this thought-provoking screening of #RighttoRead which highlights the work needed nationally to increase literacy rates for all children.

Recently, Michelangelo’s Barbershop & Nails sent six barbers, two nail technicians and two hair braiders to the Vernon Hill School to offer free haircuts, manicures and braiding, to fifth and sixth graders in an effort to build confidence ahead of MCAS week.
