This Thursday at ITAP in Columbia, come have a beer and listen to me talk about my dissertation research on a new diagnostic tool for concussion. It will be the most fun and least sober research talk I give all year! Hope to see you there!

So excited to announce that I will be headed to UMass Amherst in July to join Katherine Boyer and her group as a postdoctoral researcher studying the effects of aging on human movement biomechanics. I cannot wait to see what we learn!

After winning Mizzou's Three-Minute Thesis competition last fall, Ph.D. candidate Jacob Thomas is in South Carolina this week to compete at the regional level. We caught up with him last week to hear more about his pitch for a smaller, more affordable way to spot concussions.

I always look forward to the Central States ACSM conference, and presenting with this group just adds to the fun!
