I agree with the sentiment of this though it's not just discontentment that leads to what is mentioned. One does not have to have a sense of lacking in some regard in order to be curiosity, creative or innovative.

...an honest look at ours and see how engaging in 'right' thoughts, choices & deeds and so benefit us & the opposite lead to suffering. We should let knowing this inspire us to work on clearing unskillful thoughts and qualities... and be persistent in doing so.
