It was a huge pleasure to support the Whittington Music Festival by attending the sold-out opening night yesterday. Featuring international artists of enormous talent - including Whittington’s own Kizzy Lumley-Edwards, it was a fabulous evening.

It was good to speak about Lottie’s Way (The Charlotte Hope Foundation) with BBC News Midlands in Shawbury yesterday.

There is a huge importance to victims and their families having a voice in the legal process.

It is good to see this topic get some more much-needed media coverage.

It's astounding that Shropshire was not included in the recently announced Farming Recovery Fund, given the huge issues we face with flooding and after such a wet winter.

I have written to the Secretary of State for DEFRA alongside @TimFarron, asking them to put this right.

Conservative MPs have yet again voted against taking tough action on polluting and profiteering water firms.

This Government is standing idly by while water firms destroy our lakes, rivers and beaches with raw sewage.

Service people put their lives on the line to keep us and our allies safe. The least they should get in return is a clean, warm and safe home.

We used to talk about building homes fit for heroes - and that’s the very least we can deliver.

The Prime Minister must act.

To mark Dementia Action Week, I met The Geller Commission in Parliament about their review into clinical pathways for dementia treatment.

Better research would prevent avoidable dementia-related hospitalisation.

It was useful to meet with the DCMS Minister to discuss swimming pool and leisure facility provision in Shropshire, off the back of a question back in February.

We also spoke about Whitchurch Civic Centre and the ongoing local campaign to secure funding to keep a Civic in town!

I’m proud to be one of the 170 and proud of my friend and colleague Wendy Chamberlain MP for bringing the amendment. Parliament is a workplace for 1,000s of people other than MPs and their safety is so important.

Today I challenged the Secretary of State on problems in the Personal Independence Payment application system.

The DWP have made mistakes which have cost my constituents time and money.

The process is a shambles. PIP applicants must receive decisions quickly and easily.

It was a privilege to speak at the inaugural Professional Women Networking Event in Oswestry.

I spoke about the challenges still faced by women in male-dominated working environments, and was delighted to meet so many inspiring professionals and students.

It was lovely to receive such a warm welcome from pupils and staff at Moreton Hall Prep school on Friday, where I spoke about my role as an MP and was kept on my toes with searching and pertinent questions from the youngsters!
