Eight-year-old Yasamin lost control of her legs while her family fled bombardments in Afghanistan’s Herat province.
With support from the EU, Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion, provides her with physiotherapy and psychosocial sessions.
She is now back at school.
Ubaidullah returned from Pakistan and used his experience to start a business with support from IOM and EU International Partnerships 🇪🇺 EUinAfghanistan 🇪🇺.
The business has grown and now employs 25 people, including 8 returnees.
