A couple of years after my dad's diagnosis of dementia, he continued to enjoy making art for his grandkids.

He was also teaching people to swim during this same part of his journey.

I'm not letting Alzheimer's Society or others say he 'died' on diagnosis.

Diverse Alzheimers My husband has been transferred to a complex dementia unit. It’s an excellent place with fantastic care. The resident psychiatrist has been able to adjust his drugs, including some that are not available to general doctors. My husband has started laughing again - it’s lovely.

When seriously ill with vasculitis which affected my mental wellbeing, they cared for me over a 5 year period enabling me to make a full recovery. Wife Lesley, daughter Nikki & puppy Poppy were my rocks. Now on to help others. 😊❤️
