We must all stand up against antisemitism and discrimination. It was an honour to speak with Michael Levitt 🇨🇦 about how the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center is sharing the lessons of the Holocaust to advocate for human rights and combat antisemitism and hate in all its forms. (2/2)
Today at Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Yom HaShoah commemoration, Premier Doug Ford strongly condemned the hateful rhetoric that’s been unleashed against Jews at recent anti-Israel protests in Toronto.
Never again. Never forget.
Today, on Yom HaShoah, the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center came to the legislature to talk about the Holocaust, working to ensure that present and future generations do not fall prey to antisemitism.
I joined the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center and my parliamentary colleagues in marking Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
As we remember the six million Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust, let us continue to combat anti-Semitism and hatred in all forms.
Honoured to meet Holocaust survivor Pinchas Gutter today at Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center's #YomHaShoah reception. There's no place for antisemitism at Queen's Park, at our universities, or anywhere in Ontario, and our government will fight it with all the tools at our disposal. #NeverAgain 🇨🇦🇮🇱
Thanks Michael Levitt 🇨🇦 & Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for visiting Queen's Park today to observe #YomHaShoah , Holocaust Remembrance Day. The stories shared by survivor Pinchas Gutter & the video of survivors are a powerful reminder to advocate for human rights & combat antisemitism #NeverAgain
Today is Yom HaShoah, a day of remembrance for the six million Jews who lost their lives in the Holocaust during World War II.
Many thanks to Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for hosting the ceremony at Queen’s Park, our government will continue to combat antisemitism and hate in all its forms.
Ahead of Yom HaShoah, join us in saying Mourner’s Kaddish for victims of the Holocaust through the #TheKaddishProject .
For most of these victims, there is no one left to say Kaddish for them. It is our duty to continue to honour them in this way. We must never forget them and…
